Commercial coatings contractors and applicators provide commercial coatings, which are materials intended for exterior commercial constructions used to in new construction or to remodel or repair an existing roof structure. For example, roof membrane substrates such as propylene diene monomer (EPDM), thermal polyolefin (TPO), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), contractors will apply materials including polyurethane, epoxy, polyurea, silicone, acrylic, and polyester. Such materials provide protection to the roof by sealing it making it water proof. Commercial coatings are used in cool roof systems which promote energy savings for building owners.
